When I Know Love

I have slept
beneath the sky
of a star studded night
and held
my eyes wide open
to capture the beauty
dancing above me
within my heart.

I have swum
in the waters
of an ocean
filled with limitless wonder
my arms spread wide
to hold onto
life flowing in
and all around me.

I have leapt
into the light
of indescribale treasures
lifting my spirits up
to catch
the joy
of falling free
into being me.

But I have never known
Love
until I let go
of holding onto
nothing
other than the truth
that rises up
to embrace me
when I let go
of holding onto
everything.
