Nature is Persistent
©2013 Louise Gallagher
Nature is persistent
it makes rivers out of streams
wearing away at rock
to carve
a course for water
to flow
freely
and in its constant
eroding away
of what was
to reveal
what can be
I let go
of holding onto the shore
and cast myself
into the waters
of life
flowing
all around
to become
all that I am meant to be.
Louise, I just adore your poems!
Thanks Diana — I’m having fun writing them — it’s a good practice for me 🙂
