Coloring Outside the Lines

Fearing what is there
I hit the wall and fall
back
back against my fear
that moving forward
will get me
nowhere
but right here
lying in my fear
of colouring in my life.

Fearing I will never
find my way
I find myself
falling
falling into my fear
that there is nothing
on the other side
of the wall
but darkness
and my fear of falling.

Breathing
I stand up
and take another step
fearlessly
fearlessly moving
through the wall
I have created
to keep me safe
from my fear
that I will find myself
colouring
outside the lines.
