When all the king’s horses
and all the king’s men
couldn’t put
Humpty together again
was all hope lost
that he would never find
the beauty
lying
in all the pieces
broken
on the ground?

In the broken places
beauty
rises up
and says
life happens
in the cracks
where the light
shines
in all the pieces
lying
broken
on the ground.
